Gayleen Toll is a greatly experienced and successful recruiter who has sixteen years recruitment experience at a senior level. Her field of expertise has been placing professional and management level positions in international and national companies in the USA, Melbourne, Sydney and Queensland.

Gayleen started her professional life as a Cost Accountant with what was then BHP. Gayleen’s career in recruitment began in the USA in Silicon Valley, Northern California, where she worked for the world’s largest recruitment company. Gayleen found recruitment to be her calling in life. Her success led to her rapid promotion from Assistant Consultant to Consultant, Assistant Branch Manager, Branch Supervisor and finally Branch Manager. Each position was held for six months or less. This progress and promotion was unprecedented in that company. Her client list was impressive and included Hi Tech, Bio Tech and Government corporations.

Gayleen’s success and her flair for recruiting led to her being seconded to other, but under performing offices in the USA, with a brief to turn the loss into a profit. Each of these challenges was successfully met.

Her success is evidenced by her fortune in being successively awarded the national Employee of the Year and the Branch Manager of the Year for the whole of the USA.

On returning to Australia Gayleen was asked by the parent company in the USA to open their first professional/executive recruitment division in Australia. This was a huge challenge considering the level of the existing and well-established competition in those cities. Gayleen met this challenge successfully and was able to develop profitable operations within three months of opening. Gayleen was also asked to take over the I.T recruitment division of the company.

Gayleen moved to Cairns in 1998 and opened her own recruiting business, Precruitment. Since then Precruitment has grown to four offices located in Cairns, Townsville, Gladstone and Brisbane.

Success has not come to Gayleen and Precruitment without dedication and constant professional development. Gayleen has had extensive advanced training in the recruitment industry in both the USA and Australia and has continued her education, staying abreast of latest technology and recruitment methodologies.
